Dr. Travis Kirkland
Dr. Travis Kirkland received his D.D.S. degree from Creighton University. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and is proud of the level of community involvement 7 Day Dental has had since he bought Elko Dental Associates. Originally from Idaho, Dr. Kirkland lives in Utah with his wife and their four children but enjoys commuting to Elko. Under his guidance, Elko Dental Associates expanded its services and changed its name to 7 Day Dental. It has been his pleasure to continue to serve the Elko area for the past 8 years and is looking forward to new opportunities as the community and the practice continues to grow.
Dr. Christopher Comfort
Dr. Christopher Comfort is a SUNY at Buffalo-educated, UOP-trained reconstructive and cosmetic dentist. He is accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Comfort earned his dental degree with an award for comprehensive care from The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and served his mini-residency in oral surgery at the University of Pacific School of Dentistry. During his practice, he pioneered the delivery of urgent and trauma dental care to the residents of Silicon Valley, performing much needed reconstructive dentistry. He is also recognized as a Fellow in the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics. He has also participated in numerous continuing education courses. Dr. Comfort has taught cosmetic and general dentistry to general dentists, and practice management and leadership to dental teams throughout the country. He has participated in LVI Global, the UCLA Aesthetic Continuum, the Pride Institute and Blatchford Solutions. He is also a graduate of the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
As a leading Nevada accredited cosmetic general dentist, Dr. Comfort utilizes the latest dental techniques for cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, dentures, root canals, oral surgery, whitening, oral disease care and TMJ treatment. During 2011, Dr. Comfort celebrates his 25th year in dental care, and his family's dental care service of 100 years.
